The Last Drop

SCENE 1

Desert's Edge

Scorched earth fading into lush jungle — A woman in khaki stares at the dying grass at the desert edge, water sample vials in her gloved hand, sweat beading on her forehead under harsh noon sun.

SCENE 2

Ambushed in the Ferns

Dense, misty jungle undergrowth — A bearded man in explorer garb blocks Lena’s way among strangler fig roots, one hand resting on his machete, eyes fixed warily on her.

SCENE 3

Words of the Wise

Overgrown shrine with glowing bioluminescent plants — An older braided woman kneels by a carved stone, vines draped around her, a gentle smile as soft light glows around her and curious jungle animals gather nearby.

SCENE 4

Race for the Spring

Vine-choked ruins with ancient aqueducts deep in the jungle — Lena and Raoul dash up mossy steps beside a cracked aqueduct; Lena’s face is fierce with hope, Raoul’s with desperation, sunlight slicing through thick vine cover.

SCENE 5

The Last Drop

Crystal-clear spring bursting from ancient tree roots, jungle animals drinking nearby — Lena kneels by the miraculous gushing spring, holds up a shimmering vial, her eyes shining with relief and triumph, golden sunlight bathing her face.
