Shadow Ledger

SCENE 1

Rain on the Rooftop

Night, under city lights on a slick rooftop — Evelyn stands tense and drenched, clutching her satchel, city skyline jagged and glowing behind her; nervous, scanning the darkness.

SCENE 2

Threat from the Shadows

Gloomy alleyway lit by flickering neon — Viktor glares from the darkness, hand gripping his silver ring, mouth set in a tight line, steam curling from a manhole at his feet.

SCENE 3

Secrets Handed Over

Crowded subway station as trains blur past — Ms. DeLaney calmly hands Evelyn a folded map, her expression grave as crowds hurry around, neon reflections revealing anxiety in her eyes.

SCENE 4

Chase Through Forgotten Tunnels

Dim, abandoned subway tunnel strewn with debris — Marco, glancing back in panic, leads Evelyn by flashlight; shadows loom and danger is close, fear etched on his face.

SCENE 5

A Glimpse of the Ledger

Hidden alcove deep within the tunnel, light flickering on a dusty lockbox — Evelyn kneels, opening the weathered lockbox, her eyes wide and trembling, the faint outline of the ledger barely visible inside as the light wavers.

SCENE 6

Tightening Noose

Shadowy exit to the tunnels, Viktor’s silhouette blocks the only way out — Viktor’s figure fills the passage, cold anger on his face, hands poised for violence, tunnel lights flicker, tension crackles in the air.

SCENE 7

Desperate Stand

Narrow corridor, Evelyn stands with back to the wall, gripping the ledger — Evelyn’s face glistens with sweat, eyes fierce as she refuses to back down, blurred shapes moving in behind Viktor—danger mounting.
