Reflections in Amber

SCENE 1

Shadows in the Glass

Dimly lit bathroom, condensation beading on the mirror, Mara stares at her reflection — A woman in her early 40s leans closer to a foggy mirror where her reflection lags behind, the condensation blurring her haunted expression, under harsh, cold bathroom lights.

SCENE 2

Visiting the Guru

Sparse therapist office, sunlight broken by blinds, Dr. Veer sits opposite Mara in deep shadow — A man in his late 50s gestures gently to a distraught woman in her early 40s sitting across from him, dusty sunlight slicing the room, an air of calm tension.

SCENE 3

Amber Intrusion

Mara’s hallway at midnight, mirror throws sinister amber reflections, empty except for Mara — A terrified woman in her early 40s stands frozen before a narrow hallway mirror that glows with unnatural amber light, her reflection morphing into a cruel version of herself.

SCENE 4

Fractures

Living room, evening, shattered glass on the floor, Mara and Jonah kneel among jagged pieces — A man in his late 30s reaches out to comfort a distraught woman in her early 40s, both surrounded by shards of glass shimmering on the carpet, evening lamplight casting stark shadows.

SCENE 5

Breaking the Loop

Bedroom, predawn, Mara facing her reflection, calm resolve in her eyes, room bathed in soft blue light — A woman in her early 40s stands before her mirror, gazing at her own reflection with steady, determined eyes as the light of dawn slowly fills the room, banishing shadow.
