Night of the Laughing Shadows

SCENE 1

Shadow Surprise

A cluttered, dimly lit apartment living room at midnight — Sam, in pajamas, stares wide-eyed as a warped shadow (Drazzle) stretches across the wall behind him, glowing eyes peeking over his shoulder. Lexi and Eddie cower behind a sofa, clutching small household objects.

SCENE 2

Giggling Demon

Same apartment, now with lights flickering and pizza boxes flying through the air — Drazzle hovers upside down from the ceiling, wearing giant plastic glasses; pizza slices float around, and the friends duck as an empty soda can zips by.

SCENE 3

Mrs. Bloom Arrives

The apartment doorway, early morning light streaming in — Mrs. Bloom busts through the door holding an ancient book, amused as Lexi hides behind a lamp, and Sam holds a tennis racquet defensively.

SCENE 4

Shadow Showdown

Apartment living room, lights flickering in eerie red and blue — Eddie, eyes shut tight, tells a joke while Drazzle looms overhead, momentarily stunned; Lexi and Sam ready silly props for their defense.

SCENE 5

Laughter Breaks the Curse

Living room, now brighter, Drazzle recoiling in confusion — All four friends burst into hilarious laughter, causing Drazzle's form to sizzle and shrink; Mrs. Bloom watches approvingly with arms folded.

SCENE 6

Peaceful, For Now…

Apartment, morning sunlight, everyone piled on the couch, exhausted but smiling — Sam, Lexi, Eddie, and Mrs. Bloom lounge with mugs of cocoa, while in the background, one last tiny giggling shadow slips into a sock drawer.
