Mask of Midnight

SCENE 1

Halloween Night Shadows

Suburban street lined with jack-o-lanterns and houses decorated for Halloween. — A young woman, Jess, stands frozen under a flickering streetlamp, clutching a crumpled flyer showing a masked killer; her eyes are wide with fear as shadows loom behind her.

SCENE 2

The Collector Watches

Dimly lit study filled with antique masks on shadowy shelves. — A man in a dark overcoat, Mr. Regan, sits at a desk, gloved hands folded, staring coldly at a news article pinned to his wall showing the Halloween killings, his expression unreadable.

SCENE 3

Warning from the Past

Cluttered antique shop bathed in warm lamplight, shelves overflowing with oddities. — An older woman, Mrs. Finch, leans forward over the counter, placing a dusty, cracked Halloween mask in front of Jess.

SCENE 4

Rising Panic

Empty parking lot behind a community center, harsh security lights casting deep shadows. — A young man, Leo, stands protectively beside Jess, flashlight trembling in his grip as a masked figure lurks behind a distant dumpster.

SCENE 5

The Masked Threat Returns

Foggy wooded path, orange leaves on the ground, faint gleam of moonlight through twisted branches. — Jess stands alone, her breath visible in the cold air, as the Halloween-masked killer’s silhouette emerges from the fog behind her, knife glinting.
