Hearts in Hiding

SCENE 1

Unexpected Encounter in the Wild

Sun-dappled forest clearing, midday — Ezra kneels near wildflowers, glancing up at Willow who stands hesitantly at the clearing’s edge, sunlight streaming through trees.

SCENE 2

Walls and Whispers

Willow’s rustic cottage with cluttered shelves and soft afternoon light — Willow sits cross-legged on a threadbare rug, nervously tucking hair behind one ear, as Maggie peeks in through a cracked door.

SCENE 3

Sanctuary’s Shadow

Dimly lit church nave, stained glass casting colors — Pastor Clemens stands rigidly behind an empty pulpit, gripping its edge, his face a thundercloud as he watches Ezra slip out the side door.

SCENE 4

Confessions by Candlelight

Willow’s cottage evening, flickering candles on the table — Ezra and Willow sit close at a scratched wooden table, faces aglow from candlelight, Willow’s guarded expression softening as she listens.

SCENE 5

A Past Revealed

Forest path at twilight, golden sunset peeking through trees — Ezra stands uncertain in the path, hands clenched at his sides, as Willow looks shocked, a letter in her trembling hand.
