Echoes in the Blackwood

SCENE 1

Shadow at the Forest Edge

Dusk at the looming treeline of Blackwood, thick mist swirling around ancient gnarled trees — Mara stands determined with a flashlight in hand, Cal nervously beside her, both facing the unnaturally dark forest; Nathan stands partly hidden behind the treeline, watching them with a cold stare.

SCENE 2

Crossroads of Whispers

Deep within the forest, branches intertwined overhead, faint spectral lights flicker between the trees — Sister Agatha stands illuminated by ghostly blue-green light, as Mara and Cal approach cautiously along a mossy path, eyes wide with fear.

SCENE 3

The Forbidden Grave

A small, overgrown graveyard choked with twisted vines, half-buried headstones engraved with names long forgotten — Nathan appears at the entrance to the graveyard, blocking Mara and Cal’s way, face grimly resolute; shadows coil unnaturally at his feet.

SCENE 4

Cal’s Descent

Beside a warped, ancient oak, strange symbols glow faintly in the leaf litter, and an unnatural frost creeps over the ground — Cal kneels, frantically scribbling notes, his breath visible in the freezing air, while disembodied ghostly hands reach toward him.

SCENE 5

The Spirit Revealed

A clearing shrouded in rolling fog, the twisted form of a spectral woman materializes among swirling shadows, eyes glowing with sorrow and rage — Mara stands alone, frozen in terror, as the ghost hovers inches from her face, a tear streaking her cheek, while Nathan lurks on the edge, barely visible.
